In between the wonderful, the meaningful and the absurd, that’s where we roam. Our days filled with curiosity and creativity, surrounded by beautiful smells and smiles. This place is our home, and these people are our people. What a fantastic thing, that is.

Found this image of our property, before it was ours. Now, in the dry of Alentejo summer, it’s hard to imagine these hills so green.

What a wonderful thing it is, as a woman raised in a rainy country, to get to look forward to the rains to come 🌦️

This is what I wished for my daughter’s childhood. Hanging out in a hammock in the sun with her baby duck, her little brother and her best friend, somewhere in between breakfast and adventure☀️

We renovated the main building with water-based clay paint (!) and thrifted furniture. This is where we work, play games and hang out when it gets hot outside.

Our beautiful little village, the one we dreamed about, and that we spend so many years working into reality, is now finally here. It feels bit unreal at times, that it actually happened. That it’s real. What a beautiful thing 🥹

Our first pizza night was a success. We had lots of fun, ran out of dough, but had all our bellies the right amount of full. Next time twice the dough, double the fun. Thanks all for showing up. You guys are bellísimo ♥️
