This year was also blessed with a fruitful harvest. Fires are affecting the Douro Valley… a few weeks ago this picture was taken from our patio- the fire was just miles from Quinta de Santa Clara, Douro Valley. The skilled and brave firemen put this out as quickly as it started! Stay safe Everyone!

Portugal won first place as the best destination for road trips in Europe!

Portugal occupies first place on the podium as the best European country for a road trip, earning good scores in road quality, abundance of nature, points of interest, and rental car prices.

The scores for hours of sunshine per year, low air pollution and traffic are also quite high. 😍

Cherry season is almost here! Many of you may not know this, but Quinta de Santa Clara is also a Cherry Farm in addition to a vineyard ❤️ 🍒 Next year we hope to replant 800 trees!
