Limiting yourself to July and August is genuinely one of the saddest things you can do as a surfer. 😅

Watching the ocean before you paddle out. Knowing your direction before the wave arrives. Rinsing your gear so it lasts. Stretching before you get in the water so your body actually moves the way it should.

That’s the thing about surfing. It breaks you down completely, and somehow you walk away wanting more.

Progression in surfing doesn't only happen in the water. A lot of what makes you a better surfer happens between sessions.
