As a small accommodation local, we strive for sustainable and ecological business management and support the initiative of Ocean Patrol wich restore the oceans and marine life. Through research, conservation, acampaigns, and community engagement, we implement concrete actions to tackle threats to marine ecosystems. Their focus is on reducing plastic and ocean pollution, driving initiatives that halt envionmental degradation and promoSustainable use of natural resources. With Sabine Joseph we have discovered an artist who created these beautiful pictures from the collected beach goods like remnants of fishing nets, which are now available for purchase in an exhibition in our Silver Seahorse

We’re proud to host a new exhibition by local artist Sabine Joseph in our breakfast room, where discarded materials from the Atlantic coast are transformed into thought-provoking works of art.

Using reclaimed fishing ropes, threads and marine debris collected during coastal clean-ups, Sabine creates pieces that tell a story of renewal, connection and our relationship with the ocean.

Living and working on Portugal’s Atlantic coast, her art invites reflection on human impact on the ocean and proposes transformation as both material practice and ecological responsibility.
