É uma propriedade familiar situada no Douro dedicada à produção de vinhos, alojamento e enoturismo.

Não são férias. É vindima.

Vieram cortar uvas. Foram para o lagar. Subiram os socalcos.

E alguns chegaram ao fim com uma nova conquista estampada na T-shirt:
Sobrevivi aos socalcos.

Foi assim que se viveu a vindima na Quinta: com as mãos ocupadas, os pés no lagar e a tradição a acontecer de verdade.

It’s not a holiday. It’s harvest.

They came to pick grapes. They stepped into the lagares. They climbed the terraces.

And some made it to the end with a new achievement printed on their T-shirt:
I survived the terraces.

That’s how harvest was lived at the Quinta: hands busy, feet in the lagares, and tradition happening for real.

Figos, sol e tempo.

Por aqui, fazemos como sempre se fez: apanhamos os figos quando estão maduros, pomos ao sol e deixamos o tempo fazer o seu trabalho.

Vão mudando devagar. Perdem água, ficam mais doces, mais escuros, mais enrugados. E, no fim, continuam a ser aquilo que eram no princípio: figos, só que de outra maneira.

Gostamos de preservar estas pequenas coisas. Porque também é isto que faz parte da vida no Douro.

Figs, sun and time.

Here, we do things as they have always been done: we pick the figs when they are ripe, leave them in the sun and let time do its work.

They slowly change. They lose water, become sweeter, darker and more wrinkled. And in the end, they are still what they were to begin with: figs, just in another form.

We like to preserve these little things. Because they are part of life in the Douro too.
