Yesterday we felt the tremors of an earthquake which was reported 4.4 on the Richter. First time we've really felt one on our side of the island, nothing broken or bent here:) I am reminded that I was a conference at USGS when I announced my retirement to Terceira; one USGS scientist point out Terceira on a hugh releif map of the world..."just look for the joint of three tectonic plates." Welcome to the Azores:)

Many say my timing was never too good, got my new European duplicate of my favorite Beemer just before a trip to the states and then the onset of winter weather here on the island. Not as much riding as I like, but still getting in some island jaunts and preparing for next spring:)
