So Veerle went on a daytrip again 😉 The destination? Berlengas islands, about 10 kms offshore from Peniche 🌊 A natural reserve awaited us with clear turquoise waters, sea caves, hiking trails and a 17th-century fort. Wow! 😍
Make sure you reserve your boat tickets ahead, the daily number of visitors to the island is limited. The trip oversea ⛴ took about 30 min, safely guided by the friendly crew of

💚 how the pool water captured the eclipse.
For those who missed yesterday's solar/moon spectacle.
No worries, there's 2 more solar eclipses coming to Spain and Portugal. Next summer on 2 august 2027 and on 26 January 2028. Eclips + Nazaré big waves 🌊.
That could be pretty cool.

Veerle visited the caves of Alvados today. This magical place can't be captured in photos, you should see this for yourself. You can go there on foot 👣 from Casa Boho 🌸 (uphill & downhill afterwards). There's a place to have a drink before you start🥤. The visit takes about 30min and you can buy a combi ticket for the Grutas de Santo Antonio 🎟️

Every sunday morning there's a very small local market at the Alvados church.
It starts around 10.45h and only lasts 30 minutes.
You can buy locally produced, honey, cheese, bread, fruits and vegetables.
