Francelina Amaral was part of the pre-opening of InterContinental Porto – Palácio das Cardosas, helping to build a team and a hotel from the ground up. What followed were years of challenges, growth and connections that went far beyond hospitality — with guests who became friends, and some who became almost family.

Today, as General Manager of Crowne Plaza Paris – Marne La Vallée, she looks back at where that chapter began and the experiences that helped shape the journey that followed.
