For those looking for a more intimate, relaxing, and refined place, we invite you to stay in one of our suites in Gallery Home or Gallery Townhouse guesthouses, where vintage, trendy and modern style combine in perfect harmony. The GH restaurant & café is daily open to all looking for a refined meal, with touches of modern cuisine and all the flavor of typical Portuguese dishes. In between meals, take the time to stop in our cafe to enjoy a homemade snack combining it with our wide range of cocktails, wines, and beers. August 15th is one of Portugal's most important public holidays. Across the country, you'll find processions, local celebrations and families coming together to enjoy this centuries-old tradition.

If you're staying at Gallery Hostel, take the opportunity to visit one of Porto's most iconic landmarks: the Carmo Church, famous for its stunning blue-and-white tile façade, located just a 10-minute walk (around 800 metres) from the hostel. It's one of the city's must-see sights. Igreja do Carmo

✨ Afterwards, keep exploring Porto at your own pace, relax on a sunny terrace or simply wander through its charming streets.

Gallery Hostel is on Rua Miguel Bombarda, in the heart of Porto's art district, and for years we've opened our doors alongside the neighbourhood galleries. Dozens of artists have shown work on these walls: painting, photography, illustration, mixed media. We're looking for the next one.

What we offer: exhibition space in our common areas, seen daily by guests from all over the world; a spot in the Miguel Bombarda opening nights; and visibility across our channels.

Who we're looking for: emerging or established artists, based in Porto or just passing through the city.
