Student at Home is a Porto-based company providing student accommodation for international and Erasmus students, helping them secure housing before arriving in Portugal. We offer support on a daily basis, suggestions and advice whenever it's needed. Information about how to get your monthly pass, where is the best place to have traditional food, which are the most beautiful cities around Porto and

how to reach them, insights about events, and many more. We have created a support system so that you are never alone even if you don't know anyone here (yet). Why Student at Home®?

✅ Because back in 2013 we were 𝙩𝙝𝙚 𝙛𝙞𝙧𝙨𝙩 𝙥𝙡𝙖𝙩𝙛𝙤𝙧𝙢 to offer accommodation and support, specially designed for Erasmus and Internationals.
✅ We have partners among the Portuguese Universities in Porto and we work with the city hall too, as part of the project Study in Porto.
✅ Until now we provided accommodation for hundreds of students which now we are happy to call friends.
✅ Our landlords are like family, many of them work with us ever since day one and we cherish their commitment and confidence a lot.

Our Story

One former Erasmus student with work experience in the International Relations Office of two Portuguese Universities realized that finding a new home it might not be as easy as it seems. She took her own issues and all the problems she encountered during her search and started a new project designed to help all the students struggling out there. She established connections with people from all over the world and, for a better Portuguese insight she teamed up with a property manager in Porto. And like this came up Student at Home® We will use our best efforts to facilitate your stay and find a place you could call home.
