BIKE MECHANIC:

Algarve-Cycling-Holidays, Rental shop is seeking a motivated individual to join our company as a Bike Repair Mechanic.

We are seeking someone with at least (2 years) experience working in the bike trade as a mechanic.The primary responsibility is to repair, service, build and refurbish bicycles. You will also be asked to help keep the workshop running smoothly at all times (and to deliver its role of providing second hand parts and bikes.) This is primarily a Part Time position but Full Time availability would be considered.

Key Responsibilities;
Provide bicycle servicing and repair services, bicycle refurbishing.

Refurbishment of second hand bicycles as well as building new ones.

Assisting with all other workshop's activities such as bicycle hiring, bike maintenance, shop assistant when required.

Portuguese and English speaking, French and German are a plus

We are recruiting bike shop manager!

Musette.bike offers all in cycling packages for the sportive mountain bike and road bike cyclist. In addition to the holiday packages we also offer bike rentals, tools, products, and supplies to repair bikes in Salema and Sagres, Algarve, Portugal.

This position in the West-Algarve exists to provide service, guidance and technical support in all areas pertaining to the operation of the shop. This individual should be attentive to details, capable of multi-tasking, and dedicated to completing assignments. The Shop Manager will be in charge of organizing bike tours and guides, rentals and takes responsibility for maintaining inventory, equipment and supplies.

Primary job duties include but are not limited to:

- Direct customers through entire rental process

- Organizing bike tours for the Martinhal customers

- Share product knowledge and enthusiasm for bikes with customers

- Correctly complete all paperwork and computer invoicing associated with repair work and rentals

- Keep inventory of bike shop supplies and order new supplies as needed

- Maintain a clean working environment

The ideal candidate:

- Has manager experience

- Passionate for bikes, motivated, able to work both independently and as a member
of a team

- Is detail-oriented and able to manage multiple project simultaneously

- Is proficient in Microsoft Office (Word & Excel)

- Fluent is English (French and German are a plus)

- Must have a clean appearance

- has First aid certificate
