Besides dolphins, this time it was special, there were whales!!!
"Today in our second dolphin watching trip we were informed that the Fin Whales (Balaenoptera physalus) were passing by close to shore.
At the time we were observing Common Dolphins (Delphinus delphis) and we were lucky to still could see the whales passing in Praia da Luz and we left the group in Salema.
In our sighting we collect images of two adult but the information was that the group would be 3 animals.
Last year we saw this species on 15 July so it fits at the time that this species may leave the Mediteranean and pass by our coast, since they cross the Strait of Gibraltar towards the Atlantic Ocean during the months of May to July.
It is the second largest species of Misticete (Baleen Whales) and may have up to 27 meters and 80 tons of weight. Impressive?"

Impressionante?
