A small Portuguese ritual that somehow tastes even better on holiday. 🇵🇹✨

Crisp pastry, warm custard and that unmistakable caramelised top, preferably enjoyed slowly, with a coffee and a little Algarve sunshine.

Some traditions need very little introduction. A pastel de nata is one of them.

No alarm. No schedule. Just the morning light coming through the windows and the first coffee of the day. ☕️

Perhaps breakfast can wait a little. Perhaps you stay in bed for another ten minutes before moving outside, where the Algarve sun is already warming the terrace.

Later, breakfast. Then the pool. And after that? You can decide when the moment comes.
