Tirana was a beautiful surprise. I was drawn to this city for now specific reason. Just curious. I was able to plan it in my itinerary and a pleasure it was. Creative, full of history, the cuisine is amazing. To me Tirana is a city where the attraction doesn’t come automatically, it is a city you have to experience and see her unique, sometimes raw, beauty. It was absolute worth it.

The colours of Bologna had to be on my feed. What A beautiful pearl in Italy. I enjoyed every step, every corner, every view. Het n some way it brought me back to my childhood. I was allowed to choose a colour to paint my room. It came from a colour line ‘Coleur Locale’ from a Dutch painting brand ( Flexa verf ) and I choose an ‘Italian’ colour a shade between terra&peach. And maybe that s why Bologna brought back childhood memories from the 80-ies

Hello August! Wishing you all a beautiful month full of endless summer days and happy summer nights. After 14 years we came back to lovely Eastern Algarve. I have been in love with Tavira since my first visit in 2010. And my go to place for the best polvo and view is Santa Luzia. Just A small little village with the loveliest seafood restaurants and the view, the view, the view. I can sit here on a bench all day! Tell us your favourite go to place in summer. Love to hear! ☀️♥️☀️

THE END…For 16 years we have been living at our quinta with so much pleasure. The childhood home of our boys, a place where memories were made with family and friends. The last 10 years we opened our little oasis for guests. From all over the world people came for some relaxing time and/or explore this beautiful part of Portugal. As a family it has been our greatest pleasure to meet you and share our place with you. But our Quinta, DominioValeFlores|B&B is SOLD. Soon a new family will enjoy life in the Portuguese country site. Dominio Vale Flores closes her doors next week. Thank you so much for being a part of our journey! Niel&Diederieke 🧡

What’s in a name: Dominio Vale Flores 🌸. Over the past 15 years we have been planting so many flowerbulbs, roses, colourful bushes that this time of the year it is over and over again a colourful surprise. Some flowers spread and pop up in unexpected places, others seem to intensify in colour. It is such a joy to go around and pick your home grown flowers 🙏. Happy weekend!
