It’s such a good feeling when, besides hosting people, one is making new friends! This feedback just filled our hearts with joy!

“A few days ago,
I booked us in an overnight place called the Pink Shell.
The proprietors of the bed and breakfast were two of the best human beings we have met on this trip. Carlos and Sacha were super host. They purchased this large home and spent almost two years living in dust and grime renovating the home to eventually allow the Pink Shell to open for guest. They also acquired the sweetest rescue dog they named “Shelly” (get it Pink Shell/Shelly??). She loves to be loved on by all. The Saturday night that we were guest of the Pink Shell, it just happened to be the town’s “Blanco” party. Essentially, it is two city blocks shut down for food, drinks, dancing and more drinks (ask Buck!!) and everyone dresses in white. The party is a fund raiser for several local charities and it is well attended citywide and, maybe even adjacent cities. It is also the unofficial end of summer party as all kiddos went back to school today. After partying the night away and getting home late, Carlos and Sacha woke up and made us an incredible frittata plus shared some delicious homemade jams, croissants. Hands down best breakfast in Europe!! Until next time, Bom Dia."
