There’s a different side to Cabanas de Tavira once the busiest summer months are over.

The waterfront becomes quieter. Mornings feel a little slower. There’s time for a coffee in the sunshine, a walk beside the Ria Formosa or lunch without feeling the need to rush anywhere.

And that’s part of what makes the Eastern Algarve so lovely outside the main summer season. 💙

You can explore Tavira, walk along the coast, play golf, discover the Ria Formosa — or simply enjoy having nowhere in particular to be.

For us, Cabanas isn’t somewhere that’s only worth visiting in July and August.

Sometimes the quieter months are when you get to know it best. 🌿

Cabanas de Tavira may be a beach destination, but the beach is only part of the story.

One of the things we love about staying here is how easy everyday life feels.

You can walk along the waterfront, stop for coffee, choose somewhere for lunch, pick up what you need from the local shops and head out again for dinner — without having to plan an entire day around the car.

And when you do feel like exploring, Tavira and the rest of the Eastern Algarve are right there.
