Há visitas que nos enchem o coração e confirmam que o Albergue Quinta Estrada Romana é muito mais do que um ponto de passagem.

Ontem partilhamos a alegria de receber novamente este simpático casal de peregrinos da Alemanha! 🇩🇪 Depois de já nos terem visitado e terem pernoitado num Caminho anterior, decidiram regressar e escolheram começar o seu Caminho precisamente aqui connosco! 🥾

É uma honra saber que a nossa hospitalidade e a paz da nossa Quinta são o ponto de partida para esta nova jornada até Santiago. É por momentos como este, de reencontro e partilha, que valorizamos tanto a vida no Caminho.

There is a special kind of magic that happens when the late afternoon sun filters across the table. At Albergue Quinta Estrada Romana, our communal dinner isn't just a meal—it’s the true heartbeat of the Camino.

What is a Communal Dinner?
By definition, it is a shared meal among a community. But on the Way, it is a "meeting of worlds" bathed in the evening light. It is the moment where:

Strangers become family while the sun is still high, breaking bread and sharing stories of the day's journey.

Languages blend as pilgrims from every corner of the globe swap advice for the miles ahead.

Cultures unite around a single table, proving that while our origins are different, our path is the same.

In these bright, lingering hours, we don't just share food; we share the incredible spirit of the pilgrimage. The table was full of laughter, diverse accents, and the warmth of new friendships.

De Lisboa até à nossa porta! 🥾🇵🇹
Hoje, o Albergue Quinta Estrada Romana é a casa do Thierry.
É inspirador ver o caminho que ele já percorreu e os carimbos que contam a sua história desde a capital.

O Thierry já chegou cá ao Norte e esta será a sua última noite em Portugal. Amanhã, as setas amarelas levam-no até Espanha, mas hoje o merecido descanso é aqui connosco! 😴💛
