A Retreat Space to Nurture Community, Restore, and Grow Quinta Kaleidoscope is a sustainable retreat space nestled in the idyllic Portuguese countryside.

We work with leaders in business, wellbeing, and social movements spaces to provide their groups with a nurturing and safe space to do deep inner and organizational work. Although Quinta Kaleidoscope is located in a small rural town, the vibrant and energetic city of Lisbon is only a short hour-long train or car ride away. We have also have quick and easy access to many of the wonders of the Alent

ejo Region. From pristine beaches, and countless local winieries, to ancient castle towns. One of the country’s main highways, N4, is just a few kilometers from our front door, giving you quick and easy access to all Portugal has to offer. We consider groups, programs, and individuals on a case-by-case basis through honest and transparent conversations to determine if the needs, expectations, and responsibilities between QK and potential clients align. Amanhã, sábado, 4 de julho, vou organizar um evento de dança de movimento livre no Aldra Bar, em Vendas Novas. É gratuito, para todas as idades e níveis de aptidão, e aberto a todos! Vamos libertar-nos e expressar-nos através da dança e brincar com o movimento. Espero que possam juntar-se a nós!

Tomorrow, Saturday July 4 I am hosting a free movement dance event at Aldra Bar in Vendas Novas. Free of cost, for every age and ability, and open to all! We will be releasing and expressing through dance and playing with movement. I hope you can join!

🍂 Fall is here! It’s time to get cozy and creative. Join us for a day of crafting, comforting food, and connective conversations. In addition to celebrating the changing of the seasons, we will also be celebrating Kai’s birthday in the evening. There will fun by the fire pit, karaoke, games, and good times.

✨ All are welcome! Bring a snack or drink to share, bring an instrument to play, art supplies, bring a friend, or just bring yourself! Come and go throughout the day as you please.�

🍂 If you are coming from Lisbon, check the train schedule and advance - the train times are limited on the weekends. We can pick up/drop off from the train station.

🌼 This month we celebrate awakening, renewal, rebirth.. spring! The land is blossoming with new life in technicolor - lets explore the beauty of this season together.

🌸 We will create collaborative eco art, we will make limoncello, we will dive into cool waters, we will feel the sun on our face as we gather to connect with and express through art and nature, we will play instruments and use our voices, we will share food and stories.

🌼 All are welcome! Bring a snack or drink to share, bring an instrument to play, art supplies, bring a friend, or just bring yourself! Come and go throughout the day as you please.�

🌸 Este mês celebramos o despertar e renascimento do mundo... a Primavera! A terra está a florescer com uma nova vida em mil cores portanto vamos explorar juntos a magia desta estação.

🌼 Juntos vamos criar arte ecológica, fazer limoncello, mergulhar em águas frescas e sentir o sol no rosto enquanto nos conectamos e expressamo-nos através da arte e da natureza. Vamos tocar instrumentos e usar as nossas vozes para cocriar canções e partilhar comida e histórias.

🌸 Todos são bem-vindos! Traz um lanchinho ou uma bebida para partilhar, traz um instrumento para tocar, material de arte, traz um amigo, ou traz-te a ti mesmo!

🌼 Se vens de Lisboa, verifica os horários dos comboios com antecedência porque os horários dos comboios são limitados aos fins-de-semana. Se for necessário podemos ir buscar-te e levar-te à estação de comboios.

🌸 Se quiseres ter o teu próprio limoncello para levar para casa, necessitas apenas de trazer uma garrafa de vodka barata e um frasco grande.

Next month we are holding a Cycle Weaving ceremony by engaging with the energy of the moon, menstruation, and herbal astrology. We are partnering with an empowering naturopath, Rosella Covi, to offer this expansive experience to menstruating people. This experience will be held at Quinta Kaleidoscope on Saturday, December 7th from 13h00 - 18h00. We will gather together to build community with others seeking to deepen their connection with the cycles within us and of the natural world.

It’s our birthday and we are CELEBRATING!! 🥳🕺🏻🪩✨

This time last year, we officially opened our doors for our first retreat at Quinta Kaleidoscope. We had the honor of holding space for an incredible group from the TENWOMENSTRONG community for a week as they came together to do powerful inner work and community building. We continue to be inspired by their courage, wisdom, and kindness.

As we look back, we would like to thank all of the individuals and businesses that helped make our first retreat such a wonderful success. And a huge thank you to the ten women strong community for trusting us to hold this space and collaborating with us to make this dream a reality. A year later and our hearts are still overflowing with joy and gratitude.

Since this retreat, we have been blessed to host more retreats, many vacation rentals, and community days. We have been able to do so much in such a short time, all do to the support of so many local and international communities — and we are just getting started!

We are looking forward to and energies for whatever connections, adventures, and developments come next!

Last week, we had the honor of hosting for a coworking and community-building retreat. We witnessed and held space for them as they came together in person to strengthen their digital network of support through deep conversation, creative expression, exploration of Alentejo, a bit of magic, connection with nature, breaking of bread, and so much contagious laughter.

Having this group here embodied our vision and purpose of supporting individuals and groups as they do deep inner and organizational work. We are so grateful and humbled by their presence at QK.

Joanne Stone, Lyssa Adkins, Scott Seivwright, Sathpal Singh, Vesna Vukovic, Marjolein Pilon, Erika Bjune, Arév Hakobyan, you have each left a lasting positive impact on us, the space, and the land. What a gift, we will strive to honor it. Até à próxima (until next time)!

Last weekend we had our first Community Day at QK! We gathered to celebrate, create, and connect over the abundance of oranges on the land. Friends came from near and far. We danced, we sang, we cooked, we juiced. We are so grateful for everyone who came and to those of you who couldn’t make it.. don’t worry, this will be the first of many Community Days to come. 🧡✨
