Quinta do Outeiro is a charming B&B with a family room, garden room and a self catering cottage. In the beautifully landscaped garden we have a beautiful mosaic swimming pool of 12m by 6m with a covered pool house where you can relax. It is located in Serra De Lousã, where you can make beautiful walks and bike rides. Everywhere you will find river beaches where you can swim in nature. High in the

mountains there are the authentic slate villages where time has stood still. In the immediate area you can also go for a kayak a trip of 18 km. Coimbra, the old university city, is a 20-minute drive away where you can soak up culture, stroll in the old town and eat in the cozy restaurants. The high speed train can also be taken here for a trip to Porto or Lisbon. In an hour's drive you are on the Atlantic coast or on the highest mountain range in Portugal "Serra da Estrela". In short, enough to explore in this region. Quinta do Outeiro is 300 years old and has been carefully restored.

Beste gasten, vrienden en bezoekers,

Na 8 prachtige jaren nemen wij, Martine en Dirk, met een warm hart en een beetje weemoed afscheid van onze bed & breakfast. Op 1 januari 2026 sluiten wij definitief onze deuren, om volop te genieten van ons pensioen.

Wij willen iedereen bedanken die onze B&B tot wat ze is gemaakt heeft: onze trouwe gasten, vrienden en familie, die onze passie voor gastvrijheid hebben gesteund en samen met ons onvergetelijke herinneringen hebben opgebouwd. Het was een voorrecht om jullie te mogen ontvangen en deel uit te maken van jullie vakantie- of weekendervaring.

Wij wensen jullie een zalig kerstfeest en een gelukkig, gezond nieuwjaar, vol mooie momenten met dierbaren.

Dear guests, friends, and visitors,

After 8 wonderful years, we, Martine and Dirk, are bidding a warm and slightly wistful farewell to our bed & breakfast. On January 1st, 2026, we will be closing our doors for good to fully enjoy our retirement.

We want to thank everyone who has made our B&B what it is: our loyal guests, friends, and family, who have supported our passion for hospitality and shared unforgettable memories with us. It has been a privilege to welcome you and be part of your holiday or weekend experiences.

We wish you a Merry Christmas and a happy, healthy New Year, filled with beautiful moments with your loved ones.

Quinta Do Outeiro, Coimbra

Country house, perfect stop near Coimbra. We don't see our guests as customers but as friends

We are from Belgium and have two friendly dogs. After working several years in Belgium, we decided that is was time for a new challenge in our life. We did some house hunting in South Africa, Italy an Portugal. Finally in Portugal we found our dream house. The house was abandoned for 10 years, and needed a lot of love and attention to bring it back in good shape. Now the works are done and we want to share our little paradise with you.

We have a self catering cottage with 2 bedrooms, bathroom, living/dining area an well equipped kitchen. In the manor house we have 2 B&B rooms, 1 family room with 2 bedrooms dressing and bathroom, and 1 garden room with en-suite bathroom. On the pool (12m/6m) there is a covered pool house with dining table, bathroom and outside do**he.

We are in the country site where you can do a lot of outdoor activities, good restaurants are nearby.
