Lírio-dos-incas, Lírio-peruviano, Mini-lírio _ são outros nomes comuns.
Alstroemeria _ nome científico.

E são lírios em geral… é bom Saber.

Florindo de Junho a Outubro; duram muito tempo cortados numa jarra.

The only Art Deco interior left in this house: originally the Dining Room, currently a Lounge; used by Clementina (my grandmother) as her bedroom for most of it’s existence.
As she was a self-assured person and lived to be 93 years old, the following generation did not get access to destroying its interior aesthetics.

I see it as a gift of love of Anthero (my grandfather) to his princess. Pity she didn’t love him that long!

I am using it as a workspace. I love the light and views off it to the park, trees, small river… alongside the beautiful sculpted cornice and central medallion in the ceiling with grapes overflowing baskets, fruit, people? I need to clean it properly.

This will be the most transformed spatial quality on this Casa-de-Banhos _ a light-passage, a transparency through the entire house, most uncommon in these old adobe houses; but most important.
