Un loc minunat din Brașov, dar din păcate prea puțin promovat este Biserica Sf. Nicolae și Prima Școala Românească. Multe lucruri frumoase de vazut si de învațat. Nu ratați acestă frumoasă lecție de istorie când treceți prin Brașov.

La nici o ora de Brasov este acest loc minunat, Amfiteatrul Transilvania. Este perfect pentru a va reconecta cu natura. Nu il ratati daca ajungeti in zona Bran.

Chiar dacă se anunță un weekend ploios, noi va asigurăm că Brașovul este minunat si pe vreme de ploaie. Miroase a verde crud si a flori de liliac, iar noi va asteptam in locația noastră luminoasă si aerisita.

The Brasov Fortress was an important point of defense. At the beginning of the 15th century, there was only a watchtower here, which was completed in 1524 with a wooden bastion with four towers. Destroyed in 1529 by Petru Rareș's army, stone walls were erected in its place a quarter of a century later and ditches were dug. A fire in 1618 caused severe damage, so in 1625 the fortress was almost completely rebuilt. In 1627 an 81 m well was dug inside. In 1630, the fortress acquired the four bastions at the corners. Losing its importance in the 17th century, it served as a warehouse and later as a barracks for the locals. That is why, for a while, the hill was called Plăieșilor Hill. From the 18th century until 1954, it also served as a prison, then a depository for the State Archives of Brașov until 1975, so that from 1981, after an extensive restoration, it would become a medieval tourist complex.

Black Church it was built by the German community of the city and stands as the main Gothic style monument in the country, as well as being the largest and one of the most important Lutheran places of worship in the region.
The originally- Roman Catholic structure was known as the Church of Saint Mary, replacing an older building used for the same purpose. Construction on it began during the late 14th century, at an unknown date, employing bulgarian workers and craftsmen who proceeded to establish the Brasov bulgarian colony in Scheii Brașovului.
According to popular legend, a child fell from the church tower during construction. In his memory a statue with a child was placed on the church tower.
Completed during the 15th century, the church belongs to the final stages of Gothic architecture.
Following the fire of 1689, Black Church was repaired with the help of masons coming from Danzig, as local craftsmen had not mastered the craft of completing the enormous vaults; these were to be completed in Baroque style.
The Black Church is famous not only for its size but also for other things: thus, in the bell tower is the largest bell in Romania, a bronze bell that weighs 6 tons.
With the exception of the Topkapî Museum in Istanbul, the Black Church has the largest collection of oriental rugs in Europe, dating from the 15th-16th centuries. The interior of the Black Church is dominated by the splendor of colors of the approximately 110 oriental carpets exposed on the walls.
Organ recitals have been taking place since 1953, a tradition started by organist Victor Bickerich and continued by Hans Eckart Schlandt. Every year, the organ of the Black Church attracts organists both from the country and from abroad, who want to perform here. At the time of its construction, it was one of the largest organs in Europe.
During the summer, organ concerts take place 3 times a week.
The cathedral is a major simbol of Brasov and a museum is open to visitors.
