He asked if Viscri was reachable. She found him a driver.

A guest stayed with us for five days. Alone.

He wanted to see the bear sanctuary. He wanted to see Viscri. There are no organised tours to Viscri, so Andreea found him a private driver.

Then she called the Black Church to ask if there was an organ concert that week.
He never asked for that one.

He wrote afterwards that we were certainly more than the big hotels.🌟

În fiecare săptămână îl vedem prin alți ochi.
Unii observă lumina de dimineață.
Alții fotografiază ferestrele.
Cineva surprinde cafeaua.
Altcineva apusul.

Și exact asta ne place.
Dacă ai fost la Schuster, arată-ne cm l-ai văzut tu.📸

So: three nights, pay for two. A cold glass waiting when you come through the door, because arriving after a long drive should feel like arriving. Breakfast downstairs every morning, included.

The house is from 1914. It took three years to put back together. The roof tiles were ordered from the same factory in Austria that made them in 1908.

Twenty-two rooms. By the second morning someone knows how you take your coffee.

A man who stayed here five days on his own wrote afterwards that we were certainly more than the big hotels. He came alone and left with a driver, an organ concert and a laundry service he never asked for.

Some places reveal themselves slowly.🗝️

At Schuster House, history lives in the details: in the original brickwork, the restored motifs and the quiet feeling of entering a room that existed long before it became part of a hotel.

Vineri, la Schuster Boarding House.

În bucătărie se pregătesc primele bunătăți. Camerele primesc ultimele detalii. Oaspeții își găsesc locul preferat, iar prin casă, fiecare departament este deja în mișcare.

Hotel full booked. Un weekend important înainte. Și, în spatele fiecărei experiențe care pare firească, o echipă care pune grijă în lucrurile mici.

Poate tocmai de aceea serviciile sincere nu par niciodată „scripted”. 🤍

La final, nu numărul camerei rămâne cu tine. Ci conversațiile cu noi, gesturile mici și oamenii care te-au făcut să te simți binevenit, si mai ales micul dejun si cafeaua savurate în liniște.

Pentru noi, ospitalitatea începe după check-in, în atenția sinceră, în liniștea pe care o găsești aici și în sentimentul că, pentru câteva zile, ai un loc al tău.

Iar dacă pleci puțin mai odihnit, mai liniștit și cu dorința de a reveni, atunci știm că Schuster a devenit mai mult decât hotelul în care ai stat. 🤍
