A lot of Christmas lights will start shining starting this coming weekend in Bucharest, as the official start of the Christmas markets is just around the corner!

The seasonal markets you will find along the streets of Bucharest are certainly an experience in itself!
The city hosts at least three different markets during the Christmas season, and they are all ideal destinations to get yourself some Romanian-style tree ornaments, sample interesting flavors typical of the country and the season, such as sweet crepes and pies, sausages, salami, and the unmissable mulled wine.

You will find the biggest Christmas market set on Constitution Square, open from the end of November until after Christmas, from morning to evening.
