My place is in the city center, close to
subway station Piata Romana, public transportation, parks, art and culture, old city, restaurants, coffee shops, supermarkets, nightlife and shopping area. My place is good for couples, solo adventurers, business travelers, and families (with kids). If you travel by plane, you will land at Otopeni Airport where you can take the bus line 783 that leaves you
very close to the studio in Piata Romana. This line runs both during the day and at night when buses follow each other at intervals of 40 minutes. The fares for the express line is 3.5 lei. Magnetic card with two travel costs 7 lei. Licensed taxi cars with fares between 1.39 lei/km and 3.5 lei/km are available on the ground floor, in front of the Arrivals terminal. The building is located in a very central area with great surroundings, good facilities and everything you need is close. Because you are in Bucharest you must visit the Palace of Parliament ( 10 minutes by subway to Piata Unirii ) one of the the most impressive and controversial construction in the world. The second largest building on the planet after Pentagon has more than 1000 rooms with hand made decorations, an anti-nuclear shelter and escape tunnels from the underground. Visiting hours: daily between 10:00 and 16:00. Be sure to bring your ID card or passport. Take a walk on Victoriei Avenue ( 2 minutes walking distance ) - this is the best way to see the main historical and cultural attractions. Explore the Old City Center ( 10 minutes walking distance) - most likely the first part of your Bucharest visit. It is one of the most animated areas in the city with lively streets with hundreds of bar, restaurants and clubs.
