October marks a special chapter for us: 16 years since Epoque Hotel Relais & Châteaux first opened its doors in the heart of Bucharest.
From day one, our story has been woven from a passion for authentic hospitality, culinary artistry, and the beauty of Romanian terroir, growing with each guest, each moment, and each milestone along the way.
Throughout the years, Epoque Hotel has been shaped by vision, dedication, and the many memories created together. None of this would be possible without the passion of our team, whose attention to detail is felt in every stay, every meal, and every experience.
Equally, we are grateful to our guests, who continue to choose us and become part of our journey.

Every story deserves a beautiful new beginning. Discover how we reimagined our rooms at Epoque Hotel Relais & Châteaux, blending comfort, style and elegance with a deep commitment to sustainability and local heritage. Guided by Relais & Châteaux values, we chose to restore original furniture, use sustainable lighting, and select only natural materials and fibers. Everything that didn’t fit the new design found a new purpose as a donation to the Sf. Ierharh Leonte shelter in Rădăuți.
The result? A renewed sense of warmth for our guests, while keeping the Neo-Romanian elegance, all created with care for both people and planet.
