Remember this? Get in the mood.

Last September, the gardens of arome22 held a night we still think about. Candlelight on the tables, warm skies, Islandman playing in front of Vila Cerbul — the 1923 house once built for poets and creatives to share ideas and shape culture. The sea moved quietly somewhere behind it all.

We kept the full set. Every track, every shift in rhythm, the whole night from start to end.

Arome flavors and the people behind them

Ghiulgi brings a little piece of Dobrogea’s Tatar community into the arome22 kitchen. With deep roots in Tatar gastronomic traditions, she has become one of those familiar faces that everyone here knows and loves.
Always with a good story, a sharp sense of humour and something delicious coming out of the kitchen.

Every week, she prepares two Tatar favourites for us: șuberek, golden and crisp, and geagik, fresh and full of flavour. Recipes passed down through generations, made here in Eforie Sud by someone who keeps these traditions alive. And yes, we’re lucky to have her!

Friday evening, the kind that asks you to slow down before it even begins. Long table, warm light, sea breeze finding its way through the garden.

Urban Sunset Dinner
Friday, September 4th — starting at 7pm

Five courses, each paired with its own wine from Gitana Winery — marinated sardines, a seafood bisque built around Black Sea catch, layered kebab with demi-glace, turbot in a basil beurre blanc, apple-cake to close. Then George Heerd and Victor Bercea behind the decks for a vinyl set that carries the evening from golden hour into night, music woven quietly through it, never louder than the conversation.

Friday and Saturday. Full weekend DJ lineup, good food and a few reasons to stay a little longer.

FRIDAY from 7 PM

Ștefi, Doru & AC Lovers

Ștefi reads the room and builds from there. Some tracks you’ll know, some you won’t.

Doru is bringing reggaeton, dembow, downtempo and Miami bass to the seaside.

AC Lovers — Alin & Virgil dig deep into new wave, trip-hop and whatever else feels weird and good.

Meanwhile, in the kitchen: sardines on the grill with puttanesca sauce, fresh mussels and the usual coastal comfort.

Șuberek is back on the menu. Golden, crisp and made while it lasts
Ștefi, Doru & AC Lovers are back for night two from 7PM.

September 4–5: The full glo™️ HILO Urban Sunset experience at arome22.

Friday — Urban Sunset Dinner, five courses paired wine by wine, followed by a vinyl set from George Heerd and Victor Bercea that drifts quietly from golden hour into night. Limited seats.

Saturday — DJ set opening by George Heerd, Victor Bercea and Denada, then Maiorano takes the stage. Warm guitars, a touch of saxophone, a sound shaped somewhere between Berlin and the Mediterranean. glo™️ HILO installations throughout the garden.

Dress code: Functional / Relaxed.

Stefi reads the room and builds from there — some tracks you’ll know, some you won’t, all on the same dance floor.

Doru usually plays for sweat: hyperpop, electro house, eurodance, trance. By the sea he’s trying something else — reggaeton, dembow, downtempo, Miami bass. Even he’s not totally sure how it lands. We’ll see too.

AC Lovers is Alin and Virgil, two record nerds with zero respect for genre lines. 80s new wave, obscure 90s trip-hop, whatever’s weird and good — thrown together on purpose.

Come for dinner, stay for the chaos.
