Meet Alba.
She’s been with us for nearly two years, a rescue from the edge of a village, adopted at around five months old. She’s still figuring out whether strangers are worth trusting, so when guests arrive she tends to disappear, and if she does come out she might bark. It’s not aggression; she’s more anxious than anything else.
Around the people she knows, she’s a completely different dog. Warm, loyal, and good company. She just needs time to get there.
We wanted to mention her so you’d know what to expect. If she keeps her distance during your stay, please don’t take it personally. And if she edges a little closer by the time you leave, know that it means something. She doesn’t warm up to everyone.
