Lovely open plan living area with pool table and wood burner. Kitchen/dining area fully fitted with modern appliances, including gas stoves, oven and fridge-freezer. High quality, filtered mineral water comes straight out of the taps! The hot tub is 3000 litres and wood-fired - so takes several hours to prepare. We can have this ready for you when you arrive and maintained throughout the duration of your stay for a supplementary charge of £10. Please let us know if you wish to add this service. Four double bedrooms, each with the possibility of a third person sleeping. There are bathrooms and one toilet downstairs. Guest Access

A fully managed support service is offered with 24 hour access to assistance, as required. Though this is a self-catered rental, a cook can be arranged separately. We would highly recommend making use of some of the following during your stay. Shops/restaurants

It is very cheap to eat out in Transylvania. A hearty main course and a beer or wine typically costs under £5 (7 euros). There are two small food shops in the local village and two restaurants. Zetea, a small town 15 minutes drive away, has a wider range of shops, banks/cash machines and restaurants. If you need to do a full supermarket shop, we would recommend visiting the nearest city, Odorheiu Secuiesc, 30 minute's away. Pony trekking and wildlife

There is a fantastic and very reasonably-priced pony trekking centre in Izvoare for people of all abilities. Harghita Mountain

The Harghita Madaras resort is 1,800m and has four red, one blue and one black run, 5 ski lifts, and ski and snowboard schools run by professional instructors. Search 'Harghita Madaras'. Getting Around

Wizz Air does very cheap flights from Luton Airport in the UK to Transylvania Airport. Izvoare (Ivó) is 2 and a half hours drive. Cheap car hire is available from the airport (we are able to provide direct contact with the local firm, so you can avoid the extra cost of booking online). Other Things to Note

There is still time to enjoy Chalet Motzi while there is snow on the mountain. A fabulous family friendly resort at excellent prices for hire and passes. Great food and drink for Après Ski and a fantastic atmosphere on and off the slopes.

Whatever the season, there are good times at Chalet Motzi in Ivó, deep in Transylvania. This Hungarian-speaking area offers natural beauty, peace and quiet and friendly locals. Horse riding, walks, skiing, snowmobiling and cycling are also popular. Don't expect dozens of bars and restaurants...but those you find will be fantastic! If you like nature you will love the Wildlife park http://www.vadaspark.ro/ or if you want to take part in something a little more adventurous then we can arrange quad bikes to hire so you can explore the countryside. And after you can enjoy a few beers at Tibby's Bar or on the sunny terrace of Chalet Motzi
