The aroma of freshly baked dough, caramelized sugar, poppy seeds and crushed walnuts, all coming together perfectly in a golden kürtős, soft and fluffy on the inside, crispy on the outside. This is what autumn tastes like to us! 🍂

The story begins outside, among the animals roaming the fields around the farm. Did you know that the meadows of Harghita are home to an incredible variety of medicinal plants? They’re part of what gives the milk we use for our Timian cheeses its unique flavour.

But here, by the lake, you can actually hear the silence. And fishing is one of those activities that makes you slow down and simply be present.

Fishermen know that this is the real catch. The fish is just a bonus! 🎣

Have you ever noticed how time seems to move differently in nature or in the countryside? It feels slower, yet somehow more meaningful. A rhythm that reminds you to breathe. It’s really that simple.

Taking a pause is one of the most beautiful gifts you can give yourself. And Timian is the perfect place to slow down, recharge and simply be.

These little moments captured around our grounds are some of the best proof of that.

Did you know our animals have 40 hectares of land all to themselves? Plenty of space to run around, graze, and even splash around in the river that winds its way through our grounds.

It’s a kind of freedom we’re happy to give them, because we know how important it is for them to feel happy and relaxed. And somehow, that sense of calm is contagious.

Maybe it’s time you met them too. 🐾🌿
