Welcome to B13Hostel

The Telephone Palace, now home to B13 youth hostel, lies in the center of Balcescu Bulevard in the historic city of Sibiu.

The iconic building, similar in architecture to the Metropolitan Club from New York City, was built in 1946. It was initially intended to serve as a headquarters for the national telephone provider service. Today it is a hub of youth activity, housing both the Burger Bar 2.0 and the B13 youth hostel. The hostel’s name is an abbreviation of the address you can find it on: Balcescu Bulevard nr. 13!

You won’t have to stray far from here, since you’ll be living in the center of Sibiu’s historic Old Town. Just a short walk down the boulevard will take you to the famous Big Square and Small Square, where you’ll find all sorts of pubs, clubs, restaurants and historic attractions.
