🌱 SFE CEFEC Working Group 7 – Green Economy is meeting today!

Today, 19 October, members of Working Group 7 - Green Economy are coming together to discuss preparations for the next SFE CEFEC Conference 2027, which will take place in El Prat, Spain, in October 2027.

The group is already working on its input for the upcoming conference, exploring ideas and potential contributions that will bring the green economy into focus. Discussions include promoting more sustainable travel, sharing good practices, creating opportunities for workshops and dialogue, and highlighting relevant projects and initiatives.

🌍 By working together, WG 7 aims to contribute practical ideas and inspiring examples that support a greener, more sustainable and inclusive social economy.

Today, 6 October 2026, SFE CEFEC participated in the European NGO Coordination Meeting, organised online by the European Disability Forum (EDF).

The meeting provided an important space for European organisations to exchange updates on current EU-level developments affecting persons with disabilities and the organisations working for greater inclusion.

Key topics included:
- 🏠 Housing – with particular attention to accessibility and the need to ensure that persons with disabilities are properly reflected in European housing policies;
- 🇪🇺 The EU Long-Term Budget (MFF) – updates on the ongoing discussions around the next Multiannual Financial Framework;
- 📑 Public Procurement and its relevance for disability inclusion;
- 📅 Upcoming events, training opportunities and initiatives from EDF and its members.

We were also pleased to see the upcoming SFE CEFEC webinar highlighted among the network's October events:

The All4jobs Transnational Meeting in Cyprus! 🇨🇾

Weronika Margula, Technical Officer at SFE CEFEC, participated in the ALL4JOBS Transnational Intensive Training, held from 22–24 September 2026 at the Christos Stelios Ioannou Foundation in Nicosia, Cyprus. 🤝

The main focus of the meeting was testing the VR game developed within the ALL4JOBS project. 🎮

Three days of learning, collaboration, testing project results and sharing good practices towards more inclusive employment opportunities for disadvantaged and disabled youth! 💙
