At InterContinental Jeddah , we came together to celebrate Pakistan and India Independence Days in true festive spirit!

Our colleagues brightened the day in colorful national dress, filled the hotel with traditional songs, and joined in the rich cultural heritage of our team. A special highlight was our General Manager joining the celebrations in traditional Pakistani-Indian attire!

To top it all off, our talented culinary team prepared an unforgettable feast of authentic Asian cuisine, bringing everyone together over delicious flavors.

COUNTLESS LESSONS. ONE JOURNEY TO REMEMBER.

They walked in as students…
They leave as future hoteliers.

Today, we said “See you again” to our amazing King Khalid University interns as they completed their internship journey with us at Crowne Plaza Jeddah Al Salam.

Behind those early mornings, new challenges, first experiences, countless questions, teamwork, laughter, mistakes, learning and moments that will stay with them long after the internship ends.

But the greatest achievement isn't the number of days completed.

It’s the confidence they gained, the skills they developed, and the people they became along the way.

From learning how a hotel operates to experiencing the true meaning of hospitality, they didn't just complete an internship, they became part of our story.

Today, we celebrate not an ending, but a launchpad for their next chapter.

Celebrating Our IHG Values Champions – June Monthly Gathering
On 4 August, we came together for our Monthly Gathering to celebrate and recognise our IHG Values Champions for June, along with the outstanding achievements of our colleagues.
The celebration commenced with a warm welcome address by Mr Fahad Al Sayegh, General Manager of Dar Al Iman, who expressed his gratitude to all team members for their dedication, exceptional service, and commitment to delivering True Hospitality for Good while bringing our brand culture, “Inspire Incredible,” to life every day.
The event featured several special recognition moments, including the welcome of our newly joined local talent colleagues, presentation of IHG Values Champion Certificates, Cross Exposure Training Certificates, Honesty Awards, and Long Service Awards. We also took the opportunity to celebrate the birthdays of colleagues born during the month.
These recognitions reflect the passion, teamwork, and commitment demonstrated by our colleagues in creating memorable experiences for our guests and supporting one another.

On 3rd August-2026-We proudly came together to recognise and celebrate our IHG Values Champions for June, honouring the exceptional colleagues who consistently live our IHG Values and embody the spirit of True Hospitality for Good every day.
The celebration commenced with an inspiring opening speech by Mr. Yasser Al Youbi (General Manager of Dar Al Hijra IC) who expressed his sincere appreciation to all colleagues for their dedication, outstanding efforts, and commitment to delivering genuine hospitality. He highlighted the importance of embracing our brand culture and continuing to “Inspire Incredible” through every guest and colleague interaction. Various recognition took place during the gathering such as IHG Values Champions of the Month-Cross Exposure Training Certificates-Honesty and long Service Certificates among the colleagues. Also Celebrate birthday of the Month.

Today, our Crowne Plaza Jeddah Al Salam family came together to celebrate Friendship Day with an afternoon of fun-filled indoor sports and team-building activities.

From Circle Cricket, Chess, Carrom, Play Station, Badminton, Janga and Table Tennis, our colleagues embraced the spirit of healthy competition, teamwork, and friendship. The event provided a wonderful opportunity for everyone to take a well-deserved break from their busy schedules, connect with one another, and create lasting memories.
