Sandaholm is now a campsite with a restaurant, but in the past it has been a trainstation. Thereafter, the station converted to restaurant. The campsite has existed for over 50 years. There has been some upgrades over the years. The buildings have been thoroughly renovated and the electric facilities are up to date. There are 12 special motorhome pitches realized, with a station for the motorhomes
. There are also 3 chalets on the campsite. The location of Sandaholm Restaurang & Camping is truly unique, a beautiful lake with clear water, big fish and a large sandy beach is one of the most beautiful places in Sweden. Nature is still real and overwhelming, vast forests and "mountains" with many animals, berries, and mushrooms. Sandaholm Restaurang & Camping is located in the beautiful Värmland near the town Årjäng. It lies at the border Sweden /Norway, easily accessible via the E18.
