ish health government! Sandsjögården is a charming resort sitting in the middle of a clearing surrounded by pine trees, right by the shores of beautiful lake Sandsjön. In our cozy, traditional Swedish wooden cabins you will find the perfect getaway for a romantic holiday for two, a group of friends going on a adventure getaway or for a family vacation filled with different activities. Make sure you try the sauna with a view to die for! We are located at the shores of lake Sandsjön, aprox. 300 m off the main route "Inlandsvägen" E45 to the North Cape, in the municipality of Sorsele in Swedish Lapland. We offer charming hotel standard cabins, two simple camping cottages, a small camping site, sauna and a restaurant for our guests. Enjoy a good home made meal at our old fashioned restaurant, which evolved from a school dated back to as early as 1932. We create dishes with great passion, from mostly local produce and raw materials, with a clear focus on the goods to be found in North Sweden's pantry. Enjoying the privilege of being located within the Sami lands, we are proud to have the best of local suppliers regarding reindeer and moose meat as well as fish, beef and pork. The restaurant has seasonal opening hours for the public, the holiday resort and its restaurant offering is open all year-round for our holiday guests! Besides this, we have our own pack of sleddogs, Alaskan Malamutes, Greenland dogs, Siberian Huskies and Yakutian Laikas, that live in a kennel next to Sandsjögården. Glada fredagsnyheter! Edelweiss utökar direktlinjen mellan Zürich och Luleå inför vintern 2026/2027.

Efter ett starkt bokningsläge under första säsongen går trafiken från 15 till 25 rotationer – en ökning med två tredjedelar. Det innebär fler flygstolar, fler resmöjligheter och större flexibilitet för researrangörer och företag i Norrbotten att paketera upplevelser i olika längd.

För Arctic Sweden Visitors Board är beskedet också ett kvitto på ett långsiktigt arbete med Schweiz som prioriterad marknad. Det är en resevan målgrupp med stark koppling till natur, berg, vinter och aktiva upplevelser, där efterfrågan på resor med hög kvalitet matchar mycket av det Norrbotten har att erbjuda.
