Earlier this summer, we wrote a little blog post about the solar eclipse. Next thing we knew, a reporter from P4 Dalarna stopped by to chat about it! 🎙️🌲

​It was a lovely, spontaneous moment to talk about what an eclipse actually feels like in the forest. Because you don't necessarily have to stare up at the sky — the forest tells its own story. Will the light turn into a surreal silvery-grey glow? Will the birds stop singing and leave the woods completely silent?
​So, what was our actual experience?

​Magical? Absolutely. ✨
A ghostly silvery glow? Njäh, not quite! To us, it felt more like a quiet late-May evening around 10 or 11 PM.
Silent? Hard to say — this time of year, our forest is naturally wrapping itself in a calm hush anyway.
And the Perseids meteor shower? Well, the Swedish summer clouds decided to keep that secret to themselves! ☁️✨

​Even without a perfect view of the sky, moments like these remind us why we love being right here in the middle of nature — where every shift in light and sound feels special.

It’s a strange irony that silence—something that used to be a free, everyday birthright—has become a luxury we now have to travel for.

Five years ago, on a noisy pavement in Paris, we realized just how exhausted we were. Not from traveling, but from the constant background noise of modern life.

It wasn’t until we returned to the stillness of the forest here in Furudal that we could finally lower our guard. As a wise guest once told us: "Silence isn’t something you just hear. It’s something you feel."
Looking out into the canopy (just like this view from the Supermåne), you realize that the forest isn’t empty. It’s a different kind of presence—one that demands absolutely nothing from you.

Je m’appelle Agneta...” 🌸

Ser du lappen på grenen? ”What did you do with my libido?” 😉 Den här installationen på vår röda vägg är inspirerad av Emma Hambergs fantastiska succébok (och Netflix-film). Den är en kaxig och härlig påminnelse om att det aldrig är för sent att bryta sig loss från gamla hjulspår, strunta i invanda mönster och blomma ut på nytt.

Kanske bor det en liten Agneta djupt där inne i oss alla? En del som längtar efter att kasta sig ut i det okända, skratta lite högre och bara göra det man faktiskt själv vill.
