Stora Sjöfallet Mountain Centre is situated one and a half hours north-west of
Gällivare in the heart of true Lappish wilderness. To the south you can see the
shore of Lake Langas; to the north is protected virgin forest; and to the west
and north the view is dominated by the massif and the beautiful mountain valleys. The sense of wilderness is tangible and the days ahead of you are comfortably
challenging. What we have created here is a simple but well-equipped and easily accessible
mountain lodge where you can experience a real mountain holiday in its most
comfortable form. We give you a cosy bed to sleep in, a big breakfast,
gourmet Lappish meals, sauna, bar and open fire. We even prepare a packed
lunch for your day out, and provide you with all the equipment you need. Our skilled guides can assist you with everything. A pair of stout boots and
some comfortable clothing is all you need to bring along. This is the place for those who want to enjoy tranquillity and the simple
