Gothenburg Golf Club used the house as a clubhouse until 1987 when it was sold to a broker who sold it to an electricity company. y bought the house as a private residence. When the children moved out of rented areas of the house like office and bed and breakfast. The house is four floors and is located in a prime location about 10 km south of Gothenburg in beautiful Hovås. Free parking is available, and 500 m to the bus stations. Here are Gothenburg Golf Club and Golf Tavern in Hovås as its nearest neighbor. 500 m down to the sea are distinguished Hovås Kallbadhus with restaurant and fabulous bath with sauna. Hovås Yacht Club is located near the harbor which organizes regattas, sailing school for adults and rentals of sailboats, kayaks, boats and bicycles. Along the sea, you can walk or bike to the Gothenburg city center or down to Särö Blomstermåla the old railway line along the sea. Welcome to something special.

GAMLA KLUBBHUSET & SOCIALE STOLT SPONSOR AV STEWARTS GOLFTÄVLING!

Lördagen den 13 juni spelades Stewarts Challenge Cup på GGK – Nordens äldsta pokaltävling 🏆. Tävlingen avgörs som en öppen slagtävling över 36 hål.

Morgonrundan bjöd på fint väder och mycket jämna resultat. Tre deltagare kom in på 67 slag netto, och mellan de tio främsta spelarna skiljde endast fyra slag. Eftermiddagsrundan inleddes i fortsatt fint väder, men övergick senare i regn och tilltagande vind. Vädret höll i sig i ungefär en timme innan det åter klarnade upp och bjöd på fina förhållanden under avslutningen. Trots de skiftande väderförhållandena höll spelarna hög klass. Till slt stod Johan Möller från Delsjö GK som segrare på totalt 139 slag efter två rundor, tätt följd av Max Hedenbergh på 140 slag.

Sponsorn Gamla Klubbhushuset & Sociale bidrog med ett fint prisbord som uppskattades mycket av deltagarna. Ett stort tack till tävlingsledarna Bengt Hallberg och Marcel Elzerqvist för ett väl genomfört arrangemang.
