We are delighted to share that Arctic Bath has been included in LA LISTE Hotels 2026 as one of the Top 1,000 World's Best Hotels, and has also received the Discovery Gem Hotel Award 2026.

Each year, LA LISTE brings together hundreds of trusted international sources, including travel guides, leading publications and guest reviews, to recognise some of the world's most appreciated hotels. Alongside the global ranking, the Discovery Gem Hotel Award celebrates a small selection of unique hotels that are considered worth a special journey.

For us, this recognition is an encouragement to continue creating memorable experiences inspired by nature, thoughtful design and genuine hospitality in northern Sweden.

När vi skapade sommarupplevelsen “En Resa i Norr” var vår förhoppning att låta våra gäster komma lite närmare platsen, människorna och livet här vid Luleälven.

Därför betyder det lite extra när vi får ta del av ord som dessa från Felix och Elina, som nyligen tillbringade några sommardagar hos oss:

“Både jag och Elina är nog fortfarande väldigt tagna av vistelsen och har svårt att förklara det med ord, för en sådan upplevelse behöver som sagt upplevas.

En stor framgångsfaktor ni besitter är att ni fick oss att känna oss speciella under de här dagarna.

Programmet vi hade under de här dagarna kändes väldigt genomtänkt. Den första dagen var vi uppe på ett berg för att se midnattssolen. Andra dagen blev vi upplockade tidigt av Micke för att äta frukost i skogen, på en otroligt vacker plats.

Dagen innan hade vi pratat mycket om hjortron då jag gillar det väldigt mycket. Micke visade oss var och hur de växer. Han hade även kvällen innan bakat en hjortronkaka som han glatt serverade när vi var färdiga med vandringen. Just sådana små gester som att bjuda på något vi kvällen innan pratat om blir otroligt speciellt.

Lunchen vi lagade tillsammans och att vi bakade bröd kändes väldigt speciellt. Att vi som gäster fick bli delaktiga i matlagningen samtidigt som Eva och Micke delade med sig av samisk historia var otroligt informativt.

Från sekunden vi klev av planet i Luleå blev vi personligt bemötta av er personal. Det finns många små sekvenser som blev unika – från att kocken kom ut från köket och pratade lite om maten till ett kuvert med en handskriven lapp.

Att man hade älven direkt utanför var så vackert. Både morgonsolen och kvällssolen gjorde sitt när vattnet speglade hela omgivningen. Det är sådant man aldrig glömmer, är min känsla.”

As the forests turn golden and the air becomes crisp, a quieter side of Northern Sweden begins to unfold. Warm baths, soothing saunas, seasonal flavours, and moments of stillness await.

For a relatively young hotel in Swedish Lapland, this kind of international recognition means a great deal to us. Above all, we see it as a reflection of our incredible team, our partners, and all the guests who continue to travel far north to experience something different.

Together with our MICHELIN Key distinction and inclusion in the Falstaff Restaurant Guide, this feels like part of a growing international interest in Northern Sweden, nature-connected experiences, and a slower way of travelling.
