Many big thanks to Agustín, he bring in a new Hallberg-Rassy 24 Misil in our fleet. We are so happy to get this beautiful Misil! We prepared it for putting into the water, hope we can sail it soon to her new home port Henån!

The Hallberg-Rassy Rally where everybody wins 2016

The 2016 edition of the traditional Hallberg-Rassy Rally where everybody wins has been a record when it comes to participating sailors. 81 Hallberg-Rassy sailors with 29 Hallberg-Rassy yachts from 24 - 64 ft from six countries and three continents joined the rally. The oldest boat was a 24 ft Misil II from 1976 and the newest a Hallberg-Rassy 40 Mk II from 2016.

Everybody had a real good time. Many made new friends. Two dinners were included in the start fee. On Friday it was Mixed grill, loin of pork, lamb sausage, mini hamburgers, Coleslaw, BBQ sauce, salad on fresh potatoes, mixed salad, home baked bread and butter. On Saturday Grilled entrecôte Angus with roasted potatoes and red wine sauce, salt baked beetrot and parsley butter.

The weather was nice too with 9 knots from WNW. As the tradition says with this popular Rally, there was no time keeping and only winners. Every boat won some kind of category. Prizes were generous, including for example a folding bicycle, a chart plotter, two inverters, a minisafe, a sprayhood, several automatic life vests, led lights, tool kits, clothes, bags, Swedish Crystal and a lot more.

Next time "the Hallberg-Rassy Rally where everybody wins" will be held is on 16-17 June 2017, so book that into your calendar already now.
