Currently heavy construction is going on at our little paradise.
Well, right now it is not paradise. It is a mess!

The new septic tank is going in and for that, all our vegetable and fruit garden is destroyed.

Environmental regulation insisted we build a new tank, with drainage system. However this meant sacrificing the whole vegetable plot for this system. We don’t know what to do now, but hopefully we can rebuild something.

While it is hot outside we are looking towards the autumn season.
And we are planning something special!

We are going to organize photography tours one weekend in September and two weekends in October!

Itinerary:
Arrival on Friday afternoon/evening. Settling in our guesthouse, getting to know each other.

Saturday:
early morning: Skurugata view point. We stay in the nature reserve for about 2,5 hours.

After: Eksjö for some old town photography and fika/lunch

In the evening we are going to do a drive to see if we can find Moose, foxes, badgers, Deer or other wildlife to photograph.

Sunday:
Early morning we are going to a bird view point for some nature photography.

late afternoon: Björnnäsets naturreservat, where you can walk the hiking trail or stay at the lake to photograph nature and wild life. (This is a moose area so maybe we will spot one.

Monday: it's time to say goodbye.

Ons gasten huisje is de volgende dagen deze maand nodig beschikbaar.

In ons huisje bevind zich:

2 slaapkamers

1x 2 persoonsbed

Badkamer met do**he en toilet.

Mini koelkast

Waterkoker.

Mogelijkheid om tegen vergoeding kleding te wassen.

Parkeerplaats

Het huisje ligt bij ons in de tuin, in het plaatsje Järnforsen, Hultsfred Kommun. Aan de rand van het dorp.

Je kan hier wandelen, naar Pippi Langkous, elanden parken dichtbij, 45 minuten van de kust, de oude stad van Eksjö op een uurtje rijden en de glasblazers zitten ook op een uurtje rijden. Verder mooie rustige natuur direct uit de deur.

Honden zijn welkom mits aangelijnd.

Kosten zijn 45€ per nacht voor 2 personen, kinderen onder de 12 mogen gratis mee. Extra volwassen rekenen we 20€ per persoon per nacht extra.

Ontbijt kan er bij ingeboekt worden. Kosten hiervoor: 7,50€ per persoon per ontbijt.

We are considering renting out our guest house from May for the summer.

The house is very basic with a shower/toilet, 1 queen bed and two singles, it has a microwave, water cooker, koffie machine, smart tv, and a tiny fridge.

But because it is in need of some updating we are not going to ask big prices.

If you are interested in staying a night or a few nights in the vicinity of Astrid Lindgren’s Vårld, an hour drive from the east coast, and surrounded by nature with many hiking trails just a short drive away, send us a message.

The house is meant to live in, to make our Swedish dream come true.

Day one of actually rebuilding the roof.

At 7 a.m. the workers of start with removing the old wood works, the waterproof layers and started with the redoing of rotten woodwork beneath it all.
By the end of the day the new layers were on and they started with the frame work for the tiles.
