We are considering renting out our guest house from May for the summer.

The house is very basic with a shower/toilet, 1 queen bed and two singles, it has a microwave, water cooker, koffie machine, smart tv, and a tiny fridge.

But because it is in need of some updating we are not going to ask big prices.

If you are interested in staying a night or a few nights in the vicinity of Astrid Lindgren’s Vårld, an hour drive from the east coast, and surrounded by nature with many hiking trails just a short drive away, send us a message.

Pricing: 450kr per night
Friday till Monday: 1250kr

Our life will never be very aesthetic.

Day one of actually rebuilding the roof.

At 7 a.m. the workers of start with removing the old wood works, the waterproof layers and started with the redoing of rotten woodwork beneath it all.
By the end of the day the new layers were on and they started with the frame work for the tiles.

Today the last bits of the roof tiles were removed. With the help of friends, Sven managed to get all the tiles removed ...

With the help of friends, Sven managed to get all the tiles removed before the construction crew will start tomorrow with their part.

Hopefully the predicted snow this night will not be too bad but most of the roof is covered by plastic for tonight

Happy weekend!
This is how our Swedish weekend started!

This is one of the many reasons why we love our little paradise. Just to wake up and have nature come and say hi!
