LOOK UP. SATURN IS WAITING.

This week is a particularly good time to look for Saturn. On 4 October, the ringed planet reached opposition — meaning Earth passed between Saturn and the Sun. It will be visible for much of the night as a steady, creamy-white point of light. (The Guardian)

And this is where Dalsland comes into its own.

With few people and little artificial light, Dalsland has some wonderfully dark skies. On a clear night, you can see far more stars — and even the Milky Way — than from a light-polluted city. (Västsverige)
