Scaffolding is perfect for renting instead of buying. But you need to think carefully about how the structure will be used. Here are some tips from Cramo.

🪨 Check the surface
For a roller, the surface must be as even and hard as possible. This will make moving of the roller easier while also providing stable support.

🪜 Consider the height
For the most part, a simple platform will do just fine. But there are also wider and longer racks. The racks are flexible, so you can easily put together a kit that best suits you needs.

🏋️‍♂️ Nothing too heavy
Keep in mind that aluminum scaffolds are mainly intended for lighter work and the total load is a maximum of 360 kg on scaffolds with a platform.

✅ Daily control and security
Start the work by making a daily check of the stand. Go through all the joints and make sure everything clicks into place as it should. Check that the platform is seated correctly.

Here are a few things to consider:

🪜 Height and reach
You need to keep track of how high you want to reach with the lift, but equally important is the lateral reach. Also keep in mind that this is added from the centre of the lift, so the support legs also need to be counted out.

🏋️‍♂️ Don’t lift too much
Many trailer lifts can handle a maximum of 80 kg in the basket in order to reach the farthest end. A tip is to go up a size step on the lift to be able to reach where you want.

🧽 Consider the surface
A hard grass surface can quickly turn into a mud puddle when it rains. Heating cables under pavements cannot always withstand the weight of a lift. Even gravel can sag a little.

🔌 The right propellant
An electric lift is quiet and environmentally friendly but requires access to electricity. Diesel or petrol lifts need no electricity but renders both exhaust gases and noise.

Vi****or plates come in a number of variants. Common uses are different types of foundation where you need to pack the material, e.g. house projects, garage driveways, walkways and even asphalt.

When renting you need to consider a few things.

🏋🏻‍♀️ The weight
The higher the weight of your equipment, the deeper the material can be compacted. When choosing the weight of the your vi****or plate, take into account what type of material you'll be compacting.

⚡️ The force
The higher the vibrational force, the more dense and complex materials the vibrating plate will be able to handle. If it's necessary to achieve the highest ramming density of the material, the model with the highest vibrational force should be selected.

📏 The area
At Cramo we have machines from 50-800 kg. The smaller machines are best suited for smaller areas, while the larger ones are for bigger spaces.
