As the season turns, we gather and preserve for winter. Giovanni ties small bundles that echo what’s steeping in our seasonal tea. Soon, both cup and bundle will be composed of dried and preserved herbs, leaves, and flowers.

A w**emaker’s dinner with Domaine Jamet

In the Rhône Valley, a few names speak for themselves. Domaine Jamet is one of them.

Founded by Joseph Jamet in 1950, the estate is now led by Jean-Paul Jamet with his wife Corinne, their son Loïc and daughter F***y. Across nine hectares of Côte-Rôtie, the family tends six mature vineyards and three new plantings, on slopes so steep and stony that only human hands can reach them. In their newly renovated cellar, gravity guides the w**e, untouched by presses or pumps.

This autumn, the Jamet family visits Sweden for the first time, and we are honored to host their only w**emakers’ dinner here at Vyn. Taste w**es from across the decades, side by side, and discover the extraordinary aging grace that defines Jamet.

Goose dinner in the Atelier

In tandem with our food & w**e bar, our goose dinner will also be available as a more intimate and slightly more elaborate five-course experience in the Atelier, our private dining room.

Alongside the traditional menu, the evening includes a selection of welcome bites, sweet treats after dessert, and the option to add a carefully paired beverage package, beginning with Ch*****ne.

Perfect for private celebrations, family gatherings, or corporate dinners throughout November.

We’re pleased to let you know that January and February are now open for bookings. Treat yourself to a getaway under our roof. The contrast between outside and inside is never greater than during winter: gaze out over the barren yet beautiful landscapes asleep beyond the window while you sit comfortably in the warm, cozy dining room, with the fireplace crackling behind, and our team taking care of everything.

In the kitchen, the hunting season brings game and wild birds, while ingredients preserved from summer open up new parts of the pantry. Together with winter truffle, roots, and cabbage from our own garden, they shape a menu that moves between the depth of winter and flavors saved from warmer days.

The view from our dining room. Shifting with the seasons, from dramatic, snow-cold and frozen, to shimmering blues, bright pastels and summer yellows. Each with its own flair. On October 1 we’ll open tables and rooms for the month of January, when you’ll be comfortable and taken care of – fireplace crackling in the background – as the Nordic winter tightens its grip around the Baltic Sea outside. The menu leaning on winter greens, game and treasures of the sea.

And speaking of views. Don’t miss what’s coming up at our Vyn Food & W**e bar – with lots going on. Book a full stay, and you’ll wake up to breakfast in our dining room, getting a taste of both sides of Vyn.
