We would like to say a massive thankyou to everyone that has supported us over the years infact 13 years. As of this week Holmen Bed & Breakfast has new owners we are hoping that everyone gives them such a wonderful welcome like we received many years ago. Although we struggled to learn Swedish it was amazing to see just how much the towns folk of Sorsele's English improved lol 😆. For a while you will see us in the town but our plans eventually are to move back to the UK to be closer to family and friends. Once again thankyou much love Dennis & Janny ###

Holmen Bed & Breakfast

Having spent many years touring Europe we decided it was finally time to change our career direction. Not ever been involved in the tourism industry we knew that this was going to be one extreme learning curve. Taking the step to move from the UK leaving behind family and friends it was going to be tough. Since owning the Bed & Breakfast we have totally transformed the interior from old & dated to fresh & modern. We can now offer 5 bedroom three are double rooms, one single room and a family room that can sleep up to 4 people. All our rooms include bed linen, towels, TV, tea & coffee making facilities & hairdryer. Our bed & breakfast is totally non smoking & pet free this is for comfort for both our guests & staff. Our facilities are shared. Have a family event or large party why not rent the whole house this is subject to availability.

Sorsele is an amazing place for people wanting a slower pace, keen on nature or just needing a place to relax. Need extreme activities why not hire a snow mobile ( available locally), down hill skiing at Nalovardo only 14 km from the bed & breakfast or why not experience fat biking on the snow & ice in the winter or in the summer fat biking through the forest trails and across the beach the adventures are endless. We are now offering fat bike hire why not hire the bike & take a trip to the mountains for a day or two.

The fishing in and around Sorsele is world class with the Vindel River being one of very few river in Europe that is natural flowing.
