What an incredible experience at our Founders' Retreat on Badholmen in the beautiful Stockholm archipelago! 🌟

As summer approaches, we brought together our portfolio companies for a day of inspiration and connection before the midsummer break. The event kicked off with an enlightening talk by Lise Alm on operational excellence in growth companies. She shared invaluable insights on the processes and structures necessary for efficient company operations, drawing from her experience scaling companies like Spotify and Volumental. 📈🎤

Following a quick icebreaker, we jumped into an engaging team-building activity. The founders and the Wellstreet team were divided into groups to tackle 20 exciting tasks around the island, competing for a prize. 🏆 It was a fantastic way to foster teamwork and we had a blast! 🎉

Afterwards, the founders enjoyed some free time exploring the island and networking with each other before the evening's dinner party. It was inspiring to see new connections form and existing ones deepen among our founders and like-minded individuals. 🤝

We are thrilled with the positive feedback and extend a huge thank you to everyone who attended. Looking forward to more such enriching experiences! 🙌

🔥 We announced a new portfolio company, Deedster! The fintech pioneer helping banks meet their ESG goals already reaches millions in 50+ countries, using transaction data to offer personalized climate action solutions. With this funding, Deedster will expand its offer to more neobanks and larger financial institutions in Europe. Well done, Armando, and welcome Monika Martinsson, Niclas Persson, Anders Åkerlund and Daniel Dellham

🙋‍♀️ Femtalk: Our CEO, Evelina, moderated Breakit’s new event concept, FemTalk. The afternoon was filled with insightful conversations and meaningful encounters. In addition to promoting more women in entrepreneurship and tech, a key takeaway was the importance of engaging with AI technology at any stage of your career.

📰 AI Focus: Evelina co-authored an Op-Ed published in Di Digital with [Linn Alfredsson](https://www.linkedin.com/in/linnalfredsson/) and [Kye Andersson](https://www.linkedin.com/in/kyeandersson/). They discussed how the EU AI Act’s changes necessitate board-level management decisions.

🚀 Årets Unga Idé: Our investment manager, Pontus Lund, evaluated pitches from the finalists in Gothenburg. As a jury member throughout the process, Pontus encountered many incredible young talents, showcasing the bright potential ahead.

🤝 Investment Club: Also on Thursday, we hosted another Investment Club event in collaboration with our partner, Villa Pauli. The pitching event was a success, with a room full of people eager to support entrepreneurs shaping the future of their industries. A big thank you to all the guests and company representatives!

It was wonderful to reconnect with familiar faces and meet new ones! 🙏

⌛Hype time! Just a couple of days until the Fintech community takes over Helsinki at the Nordic Fintech Summit by Helsinki Fintech Farm.

We're thrilled to say that Wellstreet is now an official partner of FiBAN, a prestigious non-profit association of private investors dedicated to fostering innovation and entrepreneurship.

What an evening on the West Coast! ✨

Yesterday we invited our investors and co-investors in Gothenburg to an intimate evening and dinner. The aim was to introduce them to some new and vetted investment opportunities, not only from Gothenburg but also from the rest of Sweden.

The guests then had the opportunity to hear from our friends at UBS, Matthias Kostet and Mikael Hansen, who presented their upcoming report on asset allocation for family offices. The evening ended with a lovely dinner afterwards.

Yesterday, we started our day with a lovely breakfast event with our friends from the angel investment community, and we were glad to hear so much positive feedback.
