Miss Clara is the Nobis Group’s new first-class hotel, located at Sveavägen 48 in Stockholm — one of the most bustling urban addresses in Sweden and the entire Nordic region. The 92-room hotel is housed in the former Ateneum girls’ school building, erected in 1910. The building was designed by architects Hagström & Ekman and is considered one of Stockholm’s most exquisite Art Nouveau (Jugendstil)

edifices. The old girls’ school has been transformed into an elegant and comfortable international hotel by Wingårdhs, Sweden’s leading and most internationally renowned architecture firm, under the leadership of star architect Gert Wingårdh. When designing Miss Clara, Wingårdh’s architects drew inspiration from the building’s original Art Nouveau architecture, distinguished by its soft and graceful organic lines and use of solid natural materials. Characteristic traits in the original architecture have been interpreted into new contemporary expressions. In our street level restaurant, seating 80 guests, we serve a menu featuring updated Swedish and international brasserie classics. The kitchen is commanded by master chef Danny Guest from Operakällaren, our flagship dining room in the Nobis Group, frequently referred to as Sweden’s national restaurant. Adjoining the restaurant is the bar, a vibrant locus for hotel guests, Stockholmers, and other visitors. The interiors convey a feeling of genuine quality, distinguished by organic lines and solid Swedish materials such as limestone and natural leather. There is plenty of space for informal meetings and gatherings throughout, as well as a private room adjacent to the kitchen which can also be reserved as a chef’s table. The interior concept is built for flexibility. It’s up to the guest to decide where she or he wishes to work, relax, eat, drink or meet and socialize with friends and/or business associates.

The lounge spans 185 square meters and offers a spacious, social, and inviting setting for all kinds of gatherings and events. It can accommodate up to 100 people in theater-style seating, 100 dinner guests, and up to 200 guests for a cocktail reception. The lounge can also be used as breakout spaces during conferences and booked as part of a larger package.

The room is equipped with a large LED screen that covers one wall, creating an impressive visual impact the moment you walk in. It’s perfect for videos during product launches, presentations, and slideshows helping to establish your brand throughout the venue. In addition, the room features speakers and technical solutions tailored for both DJs and emcees.
