Over two intensive days, design organisations, experts, researchers, and policymakers from across the Nordics and Baltics gathered in Gothenburg to discuss how we can drive a sustainable transformation in our societies through design! 🌍✨
The Nordic & Baltic Design Summit offered lectures, networking opportunities, exhibitions, and panel discussions, where we collectively explored how design can contribute to circular societies, energy efficiency, and sustainable lifestyles.
We learned, among other things, about how biodiversity and wild meadows are fostering public engagement through urbanLIFEcircles, how Sun in my Backyard is investigating ways to integrate solar cells into everyday products, how Pådriv Oslo is working through partnerships for circular development, how R8 Technologies is advancing the property sector’s transition to a low-carbon future using cutting-edge AI technology, and how Textile Movement has developed skills and processes to support the textile industry’s transformation. And that’s just an extract!
To those who couldn’t attend - hold tight, videos will be available soon! 🎦
A big thank you to all the speakers and participants who contributed their perspectives, ideas, and dedication – together, we are strengthening the role of design in creating a more sustainable Nordic and Baltic region!
