Nude Ateljé is a Stockholm based atelier with a defined design and production process where creativity is at heart. In close collaboration with our own carpenters, as well as international collaborations with designers, artists and strategists, we explore and expand the boundaries of architechture and design. Det var kärlek vid första ögonkastet när vi hittade det här glimmrande svarta reliefglaset undanstoppat i ett lager i Lettland. Vi sökte material till ett soffbord åt en mäklarfirma och när vi vände glasskivan upp och ned insåg vi att vi hittat rätt. Glaset är ursprugligen designat på 70-talet och i W1 kombinerar vi en 120 cm rund skiva med ett underrede i betong.

”The desire to experiment, challenge and convey unexpected perspectives is central.” The client talked about literature and their book store, we had architecture on our minds, but we wholeheartedly agreed. This bookshelf has seen a few change-overs from the original one made for a vibrant book store on a medieval back street in historic Stockholm but we´ve never let go of the mix of materials and perspectives. Made of travertine, walnut, and MDF.
