We are located in the beautiful area and it is hard to cover all the mountains in one image. Have a look at these 6 images forming a panoramic view of mountain ranges Helags , Sylarna, Lunndörrsfjäll and others in between. All th mountains are great places for hiking , summit trails with amazing view points and day hikes. This area is far beyond what most of destinations in the Swedish region Jämtland and Härjedalen can offer .

We celebrate Norway’s national day today as we are located close to Norway and the border goes through beautiful mountains area - just behind the famous Helags mountain range and through spectacular Sylarna mountain range. You can basically hike from us and to Norway .

Easter in the Storsjö Kapell area is a season of community, traditions and outdoor events. One of the most popular is the annual Good Friday ice fishing competition on Lake Storsjö. Close to Ljungdalen, Helags and Lunndörrsfjäll, this part of Jämtland Härjedalen, Sweden, is also a gateway to memorable experiences in the Swedish mountains.

This week it was an fascinating event in the area - annual spring migration of reindeers . Of course this is something you won’t find in the calendar and you can’t plan your trip to experience it as visitors but you may be lucky to see it one day.
