Vi har stängt nu för säsongen, men om du letar efter lika charmiga boenden i centrala Västervik under vinterhalvåret kan vi tipsa om vårt nyligen öppnade systerboende Nattstugan!

Här kommer en kort presentation om Nattstugan i Västervik:

Bo i ett av Västerviks äldsta trähus precis intill Sankta Gertruds kyrka, med anor från minst början av 1700-talet. Nattstugan är ett boende som andas historisk charm. Den gamla loftboden har varsamt renoverats av en arkitektfirma på 1960-talet. Läget är både centralt och fridfullt, bara ett stenkast från Storgatan och Stadsparken. Lägenheten rymmer upp till en familj på fyra. Förutom ett litet pentry och badrum har gäster tillgång till en mysig stenlagd innergård omringad av kyrkparken.

Lägenheten har utsikt mot en grönskande park och Västerviks äldsta kyrka från medeltiden. Huset är granne med Aspagården, en gårdsmiljö med anor från 1600-talet som idag rymmer både ett krukmakeri och en konstateljé.

We thank all of our guests who have made this summer another busy and memorable season at Tobo Guesthouse! ❤️

Today we said goodbye to our last guest of the season, Elisabeth from Switzerland, who came to Västervik to kayak and explore the beautiful nature around this coastal town.

We plan to open again in May/June 2027. Exact dates will be published here on Facebook and on Airbnb.

You can of course also reach out to us on Facebook or by email/phone if you are interested in certain dates, then we will see what we can offer.

In the meantime, looks like there will be plenty of pears 🍐 to pick this fall!

Gårdshuset is our newest, most modern guest cottage. With white wooden panels, the cottage feels bright and fresh, with a seaside feel, and its windows have a lovely view of the main house and the green garden. Gårdshuset is one of our two double rooms.

Längan is our family room with a double bed and a homemade bunk bed which kids love!

It is part of a long outhouse that houses a carpentry shed and a former privy (now storehouse). We believe it was renovated by a previous owner who enjoyed carpentry work.

It has two patio doors in glass instead of windows. The room has a good view of the large garden. The patio glass doors can be covered with outer wooden doors to provide more privacy.

Tobo Guesthouse offers three rooms, all with different and unique character! Which room do you prefer? 😉

Sovhuset is our oldest guest cottage from the 1700s! Built with lying timber, a traditional Scandinavian building technique, it has a load-bearing frame of solid wooden logs that are locked together at the corners (knuttimring). Later on, wooden panels were added. The thick wooden walls make the house cool in the summer and warm in the winter.

The fireplace is no longer in use today but provides a charming, decorative element to the old-fashioned room, together with custom-built cabinets, the low ceiling, darker wood and old windows.

Sovhuset is one of our two double rooms.
